Greenhouse Dreams | Providence, RI
rhode island may be the smallest state, but the green is mighty.
Providence has an extra special place in my heart and not because of the doughnut scene or the great design from RISD. It is home to New England’s largest indoor garden & (seriously) my dream home: The Roger Williams Botanical Center & Gardens.

Perched on an island in the historic Roger Williams Park, the botanical center is home to 12,000 sq. ft of gorgeous indoor garden space, encompassed by eclectic outdoor seasonal gardens and a rose maze that made me want to learn French.
Roger Williams Park was created in 1871 after Betsey Williams (Great granddaughter of RI founder and legendary BA, Roger Williams) bequeathed 102 acres of farm and forest to the city of Providence to be used for public purpose.
